Our organisation’s main aim is to engage young people with e-activism through their social media accounts. During the project we would implement different activities, engaging the youngsters’ critical thinking and problem solving abilities. In that way we will stimulate their involvement in worldwide issues such as natural disasters and we will provide more knowledge about this topic. We will show the participants how they can use social media in the most beneficial way possible and doing so, other youngsters will be influenced to follow their steps. We want to present social media not only as a source of entertainment but a place where youngsters and teenagers even adults can inform themselves on important topics. In the same time they will bring more attention to worldwide problems, which in turn enlarges the chance of them being solved. The specific objectives of our exchange are: 1. Raising public awareness of ongoing problems and crises worldwide through social media platforms. 2. Showing the youngsters the beneficial and effective use of social media. 3. Educating people of the dangers of natural disasters and similar crises and ways to help in situation like this. 4. Stimulating and enhancing the young people's involvement in worldwide problems.
