The reasons why we wanted to carry out this project is that today in our society the majority of young Europeans do not maintain a healthy lifestyle which affects them in their daily lives more and more negatively. Mediterranean countries have the highest proportion of obese children in Europe and that is why in Spain we have this problem so present since 40% of children suffer from obesity. We would like to be able to help improve the current situation regarding this problem by working on different aspects that we believe are important to maintain a healthy lifestyle using different working methods and non-formal learning, while at the same time participants will learn about youth participation and about the different aspects of Erasmus+. Objectives: -Promote a healthy lifestyle. -To promote mutual understanding between young people from different countries. -To promote the feeling of European citizenship. -To bring young people closer to new ways of spending their free and leisure time. -To know the basic foods in a healthy and balanced diet. -To make young people aware of the negative effects of the bad habits to which they are accustomed (sedentary life, drugs, poor diet, etc.). -To promote social and intercultural dialogue among young people. -To promote the role of young people in building the present and future of Europe through a healthy lifestyle. -To promote physical activity, trying to eliminate sedentary lifestyles among young people. Program Objectives/Priorities: -Promote a healthy lifestyle among young people and their knowledge about the different objectives and encourage their continued maintenance. -Cultural diversity – The young people learned about the Spanish culture and got involved with the local community, cultural diversity will be present in the preparation and in the implementation phase as a meeting point for young people, international teamwork, the confrontation of opinions, share the realities of the project theme that will be presented by young people, different cultures, mentality and attitudes. -European citizenship - During the project we will be active citizens, since we live in the EU and we also face similar challenges and we have the opportunity to influence as citizens thanks to the European tool and the support of the Erasmus+ program. -Participation of young people - Young people will decide to address this very topical issue in today's society and create a real action from knowing, exchanging, learning and sharing. -Recognition of non-formal and informal learning: Through youthpass, activities, workshops, talks, debates, we will encourage participants in non-formal learning, with the help of other participants, through the YOUTHPASS tool, all the knowledge, skills, Attitudes achieved can be recognized and validated, creating a document at the end of the project.
