Objectives

The Erasmus+ seminar for youth workers titled Youth Empowerement Through European Mobility whith took place in Madrid betwee July 12 and 16, 2022 aimed to collect the experience from a variety of social organizations working in the fields of youth and volunteering work in order to share good practices around the promotion of international volunteering opportunities such as the European Solidarity Corps program as a measure towards the development of youngers with less opportunities coming from underrpresented backgrounds. The following objectives have been worked on: - To encourage and improve the mobilities of young people with fewer opportunities, especially through volunteering projects in Europe of different types (group volunteering, with local and international young people together, volunteering camps, European Solidarity Corps, potential new programs of the European Commission, etc.). - To investigate, deepen and deepen the tools and good practices previously acquired thanks to the work done as an entity hosting and sending young volunteers with fewer opportunities. - To reflect on the participants' own professional practice, focusing on inclusion through European mobility. - Strengthen and give continuity to the alliance already established with European entities that work to improve inclusion through the implementation of European projects. To create new international networks for this purpose. - To lay the foundations for a future line of joint action. - To analyze the reality of the next European youth program and to consider how and in which actions the mobilities of young people with fewer opportunities fit in. - To reduce social exclusion.
