Objectives

The methodology of IDC projects dictates that we continuously engage with young people, communities, individuals, parents, discussing and provoking them to learning new things and re-thinking their beliefs. By nature and design, the IDC and partners on this project, constantly involve engaging communities to learn through different ways including: international youth exchanges, community dialogues, interactive learning session, etc. This kind of approach therefore requires of a trainer/ facilitator skills and competencies that enable them engage communities effectively. It is not usual to find trainers who can at all-time keep trainees energized and attentive during trainings. This project therefore provides an opportunity for prospective trainers and staff of partner organizations to improve their ability to inspire individuals and communities through good facilitation skills and project management skills. Objectives of the project: - to create meaningfull learning experience in which the participants will develop competences and skills necessary to design, implement and facilitate non-formal learning experience; - to present the techniques and methods of non-formal, informal and formal learning and help participants understand how to combine different methodologies to complement each other; - to improve facilitation techniques of the participants providing them with different need analysis tool, planning tools, evaluation and reflection tools, knowledge about group dynamics, learning styles, intercultural learning, managing the challenges, and importance of reflection and inclusion in non-formal activities; - to help participants understand the concept of safe learning environment in the context of training course and activities and to discover activities that foster group dynamics; - to exchange the knowledge and best practice from their experience regarding facilitating and planning the learning session with young people; - to analyse non-formal learning in countries of our partner as well as status of the youth workers. - to promote Erasmus+ programme o promote and encourage international participation of represented organizations and groups.
