The general objective of "Travesías España-Portugal" was to promote capacity building, intercultural dialogue and the transnational exchange of cultural experiences with social and community impact among youth groups in Spain and Portugal. The project sought to generate in both countries a process of collective intelligence and exchange of synergies around cultural and social innovation, led by the young people and youth organizations involved. Specifically, the project strengthened, channeled and made visible local cultural initiatives with social impact developed by youth organizations in Spain and Portugal, by promoting: - Non-formal peer-to-peer learning processes, materialized in an online training itinerary in cultural innovation and in the creation of a digital ecosystem of open innovation, which will result in the prototyping of collaborative cultural projects with potential for community, local and regional social impact. - Transnational exchange and strategic cooperation processes between youth groups from both countries, materialized in a process of international mobility, which resulted in the implementation on the ground of projects that the youth organizations themselves have jointly designed during the training phase. - And to processes of dissemination, exploitation and scaling of innovative cultural and social initiatives, conceived, promoted and developed by young people, which will materialize in the creation of a transmedia digital showcase of cultural projects with social impact.
