During the youth exchange "Whats your footprint", participants from Greece, Finland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Italy met together for one week and implemented activities about carbon footprin. Our objectives were totally achieved and the participants left us behind the best feedback. Specifically: They reflected on their Carbon Footprint, the effects for the future of the earth and ways to decrease it. They realised how many plastics we use every day and ways to avoid them They learned how to Upcycle plastic in many ways and especially with a specific machine for direct recycling and learn ways of self-production(e.g. soaps, lip balm) They Learned how to build with natural building techniques, through participating in a local project with natural building They Interacted with locals and try to change their non eco-friendly habits They learned a lot about other cultures during intercultural night They learned how to construct things with recycling wood They connected with people with diffirent cultures, work together and enjoy a week in a very beautiful place next to the river and so close to the nature Personal development -increased self-empowerment and self-esteem -developed green skills and sustainable competences -improved foreign language competences - increased sense of initiative - enhanced intercultural awareness - gave better awareness of the European project and the EU values - increased motivation for taking part in future (formal/non-formal) education or training after the mobility period abroad
