Objectives

The objectives of our project were the following: - trigger interest for maker education - develop skills on IOT, VR and AR applications in theatre and performance arts - exchange good practices and experiences on digital youth work and theatre in youth work Through this project we wanted to introduce youth practitioners to youth work practices that combine performance arts with digital DIY. We wanted to enhance the learning experience of our target audiences by integrating digital technologies (notably Internet of things, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality) so as to trigger supplementary learning outcomes (supplementary soft skills as well as, most importantly, digital skills). The project was intended to contribute to our organization’s and our partners’ effort to innovate youth work, and improve its quality. We strive in fact to experiment and test novel methodologies and tools for youth work, especially ones focused on latest digital technologies.
