This training aims to bring together both youth professionals but also young people said to have less opportunity to sensitize them to diversity and equip them for a more effective and positive consideration of this dimension either in their work with very different young people in their daily lives. The objectives of this meeting are: • create a community of learners ready to engage in a stimulating, self-reflective, long-term and dynamic learning process; • identify the relevant socio-political and cultural conditions that influence the lives of young people at local and European level; • explore the contexts in which young people are growing up today, develop a sensitivity to the issues of identity and culture that young people face and critically evaluate the current responses of youth work addressed to them; • understand the reasoning and motivation behind the views and attitudes of youth, discover how opinions are formed, and practice critical thinking; • challenge / radicalize the concept of diversity by exploring it in a values-based rather than normative political perspective; • develop the most relevant skills to reconsider and restructure work practices with young people who respond to current challenges; • develop the intercultural competences of the participants, • incorporate the principles of slow youth work into diversity practices; • discover opportunities to integrate a values-based approach to diversity in Erasmus + activities and support international cooperation among participants
