The HIP HOP CULTURE project has been thought out and built BY YOUNG PEOPLE AND FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. It is about a meeting between young people who will have as common culture, that of HIP HOP. The different artistic forms that are linked to it (dance, graffiti, rap...) will be the privileged media of the meeting. This movement, born in the 70's in the working class in the working class neighborhoods of New York has become one of the major MEANS OF EXPRESSION of the underprivileged classes in the whole world, especially in Europe and later in the Arab world. Today Hip Hop allows everyone and each one to TELL THE REAL, to REPRESENT HIS IDENTITY, his origin, his culture and his belonging. It is also a means of opening and meeting through the "real", of sharing one's daily life through an artistic creation. In this project we will use culture as a lever for INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE FULFILLMENT but above all of MEETING. This project will be a breath of fresh air in a post-pandemic period which is not not favorable to artistic creation. The HIP HOP CULTURE project was born out of a meeting between two young people: one French and the other Palestinian, both of them animated by Hip Hop dance and culture. They are Khouka, a young volunteer from the association Pick Up production https://www.pickup-prod.com/association/ and Islam, a Palestinian dancer and volunteer for 10 months at CEMEA sent by the association HSA. Accompanied.es by CEMEA, they embarked on the adventure to organize a youth exchange in Palestine in 2021 around Hip Hop. This POPULAR EDUCATION project will be based on the solid partnership between the CEMEA PDLL and the HSA association which has lasted for more than 10 years. This project composed of a single activity which will take place in Palestine, will have the following objectives: - Promote intercultural dialogue between young Palestinians and French young people based on their common interest in Hip Hop culture. - Enabling young people to live an emancipating intercultural experience - Creating a space for free artistic expression in the post-pandemic context - Promoting Hip Hop culture in Palestine and France
