Objectives

The objectives of our project were as follows: - Discovering European cultural diversity: Creating a cooperative time capsule The objectives of the Let's Match project were multiple. First of all, it was to invite the young participants to reflect on the notion of common heritage of the European Union and its inhabitants. This invitation took the form, in particular, of the creation of time capsules which were placed in the ground in the project's partner countries. The daily life induced by the youth exchange is an opportunity for the participants to confront the notion of European cultural diversity by sharing their daily life with young people from other cultures. - Discovering the common values of the Member States of the European Union by creating an awareness of European citizenship by working on the values of tolerance, respect, etc. - Discovering the local heritage of France and Europe By its very nature of mobility project, one of the objectives of the project is to make young foreigners discover the heritage of the Bourbonnais territory. Numerous visits have been planned (museums, castles, towns, etc.). The young people from the area will have the opportunity to take ownership of their environment in an active way and thus become its ambassadors. - Mobilising young people from the region and from youth organisations in the Allier on European mobility schemes The groups of participants from the three partner countries were made up of young people who had little or no experience of mobility abroad. This first experience of mobility was to be an opportunity for them to discover the many European mobility schemes that exist in order to spread the word about the existence of such programmes. The project included a large part of work in partnership with local youth structures (Youth Information Point, municipal youth council, social centres, etc.), with a double objective. Firstly, to allow each of the participants to benefit from their particular field of expertise in the running of the stay. Finally, the project allowed these structures to experience the creation of an ERASMUS+ project of this scale as closely as possible, so that the experience could be repeated in the territory.
