Nowadays, young people face many challenges and uncertainties about their future. Global warming, climate change has been a hot issue. It raised more and more people’s attention. Young people becoming more and more aware that the climate change effects it’s a problem that will change the future of the world they live in and affect next generations to come. Youth wants to take the initiative of going more environmentally friendly for a better change. Recycling and upcycling is one of the activities through which we cannot waste the used material and use it over and over again (waste reduction) which in terms means that we are using are resources efficiently and smartly in order to make a batter change. Objectives: a) To empower creativity and raise awareness on environmental issues, such as the possibility of reuse of recycled materials. b) To raise the employability of young people by combining creative work with non formal learning programme, and by offering a structured environment for self directed learning. c) To promote intercultural learning and cooperation among youngsters through the tool of creativity. d) To encourage young people to self express and express their background, culture and experience. e) To increase active participation of young people in the civic life of a community by providing a space for interaction, learning and sharing of knowledge and a possibility to show the outcomes of this process in an open event. f) To empower youth to become active citizens, through the sharing of critical knowledge and understanding of a sustainable way of living. During the project and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to be a part of unique experience that will provide them with knowledge and skills at many levels. Non-formal education and the very topic of creative recycling will present young entrepreneurs with modern entrepreneurial opportunities and offer them the skills needed today. On the other hand, by living with individuals from 8 different countries they will experience multicultural dimensions, freeing themselves from any stereotypes created previously.
