By this project we want to provide young people with opportunity to learn how to practice and promote European values through active citizenship and which ways of active citizenship young people can use in order to work on it. As our discussion resulted by creation of research in our countries, Croatia, Armenia and Italy and after it also Georgia, Greece and Ukraine joined us, results showed us the needs of young people which we want to cover by this project proposal and which are mostly identic in all involved countries but also which are easier to recognize in countries in development or in less developed countries. By this project proposal we want to gather and give young people from those countries opportunity to learn about European values, meaning of it, different understanding of European values in different countries but also we want to give to us and them opportunity to exchange experience and to go through the process of learning by doing as that is the best way of learning, especially in international and intercultural environment regardless on different backgrounds and fewer opportunities with which young people from those countries are dealing very often. What we as a young people recognized is that many young people have wish to be active, to participate in active citizenship and to take their role in society but they dont know how to do it and what to do in order to become active citizens. We realized that European values are not understood in all societies and in all countries on the same way and that by learning in international envrionment we can change that and promote European values as something that is unique in the world and that define our society as more tolerant, with more solidarity but also more respect and more diverse in which we dont understand diversity as an minus but as something that make our society better. Young people very often get idea which changes are needed in society but they dont know how to make changes, which concrete actions and steps to do, how to do it, how to interest other young people to join us but also how to use different educational tools in order to educate more young people about European values and importance of respect of European values in practice and not to keep it just on the paper. As countries from which we are all coming are dealing with similiar issues but we are coming from different backgrounds, different situations and different levels of development but also from countries where European values are differently understood we want to equalize European values by our common approach to it and we want to empower young people who will participate in this project but also their peers and other young people from their countries, especially from local areas from which they are coming to become active citizens and to take active role in society in order to make positive changes and to show by our examples that together we can do it because as poem is saying "If not us, then who? If not now, then when?" and as the name of the project say we believe that this is the key moment when we need to become actively involved in active citizenship as "Europe is on intersection" and we need to make changes in order to promote European values and create better society. The objectives of the project are directly connected with objectives of Europe 2020. strategy, with ET 2020. framework, especially in promotion of equity, soial cohesion and active citizenship, EU Youth strategy which support social and civic engagement and aim to ensure that all young people have resources to take active part in society and most important its close linked to Erasmus+ objectives in the field of youth, especially mobility of young people. Objectives of the project are: - enhance cooperation on international level, not only between NGOs but also between institutions, decision makers, NGOs and education institutions - empowering young people with the tools and ways on which they can act and become involved in active citizenship in order to do positive changes in society - raise awareness about European values and importance of practicing and promoting European values in today society - promote and support international and intercultural learning and understanding in order to overcome stereotypes and recognize advantages of it - motivate and support young people in their involvement in active citizenship - support and provoke critical thinking of young people in order to recognize fake information and fake news - make young people more empathic and more solidar, especially in the time of crisis
