We want to carry on with a project that was implemented two years ago, but with up-to-date improvements and couple of new partners that we can transfer our experience to. We had a really good experience, good project results and excellent feedback from partner organizations, positive evaluation of the final report by the NA, as well as the need and interest that partners and other organizations have shown. With the implementation, we will present skills to new partner organizations and their youth workers that will, after gaining new knowledge and methodologies, positively affect their target groups - young people. The crowdfunding ecosystem has been changing over the past two years, and supporting structures (of which there are very few) and not supporting new trends. Organisations working with youth are not following these trends - moreover, they never had proper methodologies on how to teach crowdfunding. If you feel the content of the project and the workshops, the mentioned investment and environmental components in crowdfunding will be upgraded, while enriching the content of the workshops and tailored based on the experience and feedback of the participants and the Agency. In the first place, there will be a greater focus on teaching methodology that young workers will be able to use in their daily work with young people. In addition, the content workshop will be upgraded with two years of Brodotos' experience in crowdfunding, as well as general work with young people. General objective of the project: 1) To give a contribution to raise employment of youth in the local areas of partnering organisations by empowering local youth workers and entrepreneurial spirit among young people in their daily work. Specific goals: 1) To increase participants' knowledge about crowdfunding and its components by developing crowdfunding strategies for campaigns focused on their local issues (1 per country); 2) To increase participants' competences for non formal teaching about crowdfunding and its components by developing a methodology dedicated for young persons (1 per country); 3) To increase the capacities of partnering organisations; 4) To successfully disseminate the projects' results and outputs among young people. Issues and needs we want do address: In partner organizations' local areas, the problem of youth unemployment is increasing. At the same time, young people do not initiate their own initiatives because of insecurity, lack of information and apathy. They are not getting the opportunity to finance their ideas with conventional methods, leaving them unemployed or emigrating. Crowdfunding can be an extremely useful tool for young people because it offers the ability to raise funds in an innovative and fast-paced manner. Due to the nature of a crowdfunding campaign (communication strategy, video, high reach by target groups, etc.), it also gives great visibility to the initiative. For implementing a successful crowdfunding campaign, a wide range of skills that are useful for the job market and the growth of self-employment capacity are needed. These are: planning a business / financial / communication strategy, defining target groups, involving the local community, problem solving, project management, storytelling, pitching ideas to potential customers, quality social networking, etc. The need for alternative funding for young people increased during the period, while CF became more accessible due to greater awareness and security of potential supporters. Also, crowdfunding support in partner local areas are both in formal or informal education almost non-existent. With this project we want to contribute to solving the two mentioned problems: 1) To enhance the capacity of partner organisations to become local crowdfunding support for young people and; 2) To create a contribution for young people in self-employment and creating competences for the labor market.
