The goal of the Climtastic project was to raise awareness of climate change and its effects. That is why we chose a new approach with the help of our program. We turned the question around, instead of endless debates, we focused on the questions that we, "Western" people, are responsible for causing and expanding climate change. We looked for answers to what we can do against the individual forms of behavior that cause these effects. We also discussed these relationships with the involvement of experts and by the end of the project we produced informative illustrative tools that effectively drew attention to our common responsibility in the fight against climate change. The three pillars of the program - conscious consumption, recycling and social sensitivity - all served this purpose. The program gave practical answers to the questions of climate change, both at the level of local communities and the individual. During the program, the participants became aware that the polluting actions experienced at the level of the individual also have an impact on global consequences, and we presented them playfully and through workshops the methods they can use individually to combat climate change. At the end of the process, the participants worked independently to create a presentation tool (play, short films) as a result of their research and experience.
