"Allegroba 2020" was born following the success achieved by the 2019-2-IT03-KA105-016942 project: the satisfaction and positive feedback received among participants, stakeholders and the media were such as to push us in 2020 to continue in this direction. If the first was a bilateral exchange, this new one envisaged two other nations and greater attention regarding issues such as multiculturalism and Europeanism, especially to counter dangerous ultra-nationalistic phenomena which were affecting the four nations involved here, especially the younger age group. In addition, the project aimed to counter the widespread social phenomenon that is leading young people to break away and lose interest in the social life of their local community and country. These considerations at the beginning of 2020 led us to plan this youth exchange, with the main intention of: - promote multiculturalism; - to promote the participation in the social life of the youngster; - promote respect for minorities and counter social phenomena such as stereotypes, hate speech and ultra-nationalist sentiments; - promote youth mobility and Erasmus+; - enhance some soft skills among the participants (communication, empathy, listening skills, acceptance of feedback, problem solving, leadership, teamwork, adaptability, etc.). The youth exchange was linked to a local celebration and to the collaboration with a school (both founded by Italians centuries ago) which allowed the project, its activities and the involvement of the participants to develop and make it in the best way.
