Today we live in the world full of distractions – smartphones, TVs, social media, internet in general. We use phones daily and whatever we do, we are continuously distracted by advertisements, proposals and other type of pop-ups. Not a half an hour goes without our attention being drawn from initial tasks or activity we were doing. Research shows that the timespan when young people are able to focus is decreasing drastically. And without being able to focus people get frustrated, cannot accomplish tasks and solve problems; they feel lost without even knowing why which has negative effects on personal and professional loves. Therefore, we decided to organize a project during which we worked on increasing critical thinking as one of the ways to raise ability to concentrate and evaluate information, having positive effect on lives and impact leading to better performance in school and overall life, being able to finish tasks we started, discover ourselves and our hobbies, dedicate enough time to learn them. Project was to change attitudes and raise critical thinking skills as a way for increasing ability of youth to focus, evaluate information, discover new ways of learning and practicing to finish things they have started in a focused way. We had three project objectives which were reached: -Raised critical thinking skills and changed attitudes of young participants of this project -Discovered practical tools and exercises how to increase the ability to focus and creating non-formal environment to practice them -Created opportunity for young participants to have time and space to practice being focused and how to deal with distractions effectively, shifting focus on the things that matter the most in life
