Today it is more important than ever to deal with the subject of gender. Awareness of gender, and its issues, is essential for combating gender discrimination, sexism, and gender-based violence. Awareness of gender constructs makes us also one step closer to gender equality. Supporting gender sensitivity and sensitizing is the right path to diversity, respect for all, and equal rights. Hence, through this project, the young people have expressed their willingness to clarify and demystify the gender realities in a cross-cultural frame through a youth exchange aiming to address the following objectives: -Introducing participants to gender-related terminology; -Raising awareness of the impact of gender roles on society; -Explore the position of women, issues of sexism, gender discrimination and gender-based violence; -Compare the cultural realities and differences of the participating countries from Europe and the Southern-Mediterranean countries; -Create an online “Gender Vocabulary”, an online guide through Gender; -Foster gender sensitizing and gender sensitivity among participants;
