Our experience in running courses for migrants and third country nationals has clearly shown to us the need for such training that empowers Youth workers working in ever changing environments. We want to give them space to reflect and acquire English language skills that will help them to perform ther youth work assignment effectively and efficiently. The TC should alleviate the stress and pressure the Youth workers are exposed to. We also will create links between youth relationships (individual and group ones), values and feelings, and in a second step on methods, knowledge’s and theories, and for this reason has a complexity inside. Easily understandable how easy can be events of burn-out between Youth Workers, especially in the beginners. So, it's fundamental for them to be aware of their fears and feelings, to use these on their benefit and on Youth groups benefit. We want to carry out this project for recognizing and sharing these fears and providing tools and methods to fight these (fear of communication, fear of public speaking, fear of conflict, fear of judgement,) through empowerment of the specific competences. OBJECTIVES 1. Provide youth workers a space of reflection on their role, experiences, values and fears; 2. Empower their competences in different areas of Youth Work (communication, conflict management, problem solving,) to face the main fears and overcome these. 3. Support participants in putting in practice the gained learnings, designing and performing small workshops as final task; 4. Strengthen participants and organizations competences and capability in youth work and international dimension and cooperation. 5. Facilitate the creation of partnership for further projects among the organisations (through the positive exchange among the organisations); 6. Enhance Non-Formal education methods and recognition of NFE learning. - to spread practical skills in order to contribute to Youth Workers empowerment.
