This project was aimed at activating and integrating young people aged 17-21, with fewer opportunities, from small towns, the project was to encourage young people to actively participate in local and regional activities and to increase their awareness of the European Union and the opportunities offered by being an EU citizen. A secondary goal was the European integration of young people, tolerance and understanding of other Europeans. It was through group work and spending time together that young people had the opportunity to debunk stereotypes, learn from each other and create respect for each other. The project was attended by young people with fewer opportunities, the more difficult it is to find such opportunities for international meetings. What made people who have never been abroad finally get to know new cultures, language and everything related to it. This helped to refute myths and stereotypes, and young people are less afraid to speak English in public. We used non-formal teaching methods, our joint activities were not schematic and it allowed us to draw conclusions and open ourselves to new experiences. Working in international groups has allowed young people to be more empathetic towards other nationalities and cultures, which will result in easier finding a job in an international company or abroad in the future. Together with our partners, we examined us - participants - in terms of activity, through a survey. We surveyed 60 people in our organizations. It shows that only 45 percent were abroad, 12 percent are active members of sports clubs, 9 percent know only the possibility of volunteering abroad, 75 percent of the respondents stated that apart from school activities, they do not have any activities. The survey expressed the will to learn about new cultures, opportunities in the EU, the willingness to learn new skills, learn English, information about career development. From this information, it follows that we should use informal education and interactive workshops that will provide information about the EU and the possibilities of studying abroad, volunteering, career and work abroad. At the same time, we will present the values of the EU, we will raise the awareness of young people about their personal talents, potentials and skills.
