The idea for the project was born from talks during previous projects, and the final spark to prepare it is the vision of the coming financial crisis and the collapse of the global economy in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and the time of climate crisis. The Economy Foundation and partners had joined the conviction that the world we know should be "reinvented". We were convinced that it is young people who could become a generation that would bring about changes in thinking about the economy, development and society. The key challenge we wanted to face is the fact that our organizations did not have staff who will be able to work with young people on issues related to systemic solutions, advocacy and debate with young people, and who had a basic knowledge of the concept of alternative forms of economic development and the climate crisis. Project goal: Developing the competences of 24 youth workers representing eight NGOs from various countries in the field of youth work, including work in digital space, to support the participation of young people in public debate and increase their impact on its climate, economic development and fight against poverty.
