The project will address "The environmental footprint, lack of taking initiative and the followed by lack of sense of belonging to the society ", topic, for a long time under the auspices of international governments and in particular of the European Union. The objectives of the exchange are: - to raise awareness of the community on ecological and civic topics; -to show the situation prevailing in Europe and the whole world -To awake the creative potential of young people. -To increase the sense of initiative in the local community, - to re-educate people from a "throwaway" and "convenience" lifestyle to a sustainable, realizing that living in an ecological way doesn't necessarily mean giving up our "comfort"; - to understand which alternative solutions we can develop in our daily life and at our own level to reduce our ecological footprint; - to promote the respect for common goods, supporting the active citizenship and understanding of European environmental and educational policies; - to improve soft skills and key competencies (such as initiative and entrepreneurship, creativity, team working...) - to give a chance to youngsters, especially with few opportunities ones, to gain multicultural experiences. - to encourage young trainers and participants to create their own educational programs; The expected impacts are strictly related to the personal growth of participants as citizens of the world. We want the youngsters, once came back home, be: - aware that a sustainable lifestyle is the only way to achieve equality in each field of human rights and that each individual's contribution is essential for achieving far greater purposes; - conscious to belong to a society, especially who with fewer opportunities, pushing them, thanks to the tools by us provided and our forthcoming support, to be active and civic responsible citizens, disseminating the results of this exchange and in the future to create their own environmental education program; -Particularly for participants with fewer opportunities - they will experience a sense of inclusion as an outcome of our activities. By giving them opportunities to express themselves and feel equal to the others, their attitudes towards life will change. - Participants will deepen the understanding that we are all equal and equally deserving of respect and self-fulfilment in both human and professional careers. - During the project, participants will increase their self-esteem, their competence to communicate with others. - The creativity of our participants will increase as well as willingness to take initiatives. - Participants will also develop the ability to think critically, cooperate and work in groups. - assure about their great potentialities, thank you for the exploitation of the nonformal education and the analysis of their learning process, in order to have an enterprising youth, able to bring fresh ideas of change; - open minded to diversity, as a result of an intercultural exchange, where the freedom of expression will be a founding pillar. Thanks to a carefully prepared method of conducting the workshops, participants will learn how they can become more environmentally friendly and how they can promote this idea in their environment.
