The project entitled "The flavors of integration" was created as a result of the bottom-up youth's initiatives and we had implemented it to support participants' development, allow them to gain international experience and motivate them to be active in social, cultural and professional areas. The thematic track of the project was to improve intercultural competences, including nodal competences (such as: communication skills, empathy, understanding attitudes and ways of behaviour of people from other cultures, openness to other, tolerance, handling with new situations) through common cooking. It was also an opportunity for partner organisations to establish international cooperation, gain experience in implementing of EU projects and to interest our communities in non-school forms of education. The youth mobility was an opportunity to dialogue about living in contemporary Europe, European values, it allowed them to get the knowledge about Polish and Lithuanian cultures, customs and traditions, with particular focus on Polish and Lithuanian cuisine.
