The direct aim of the project was to increase the ability of young people to use the media consciously, to analyze and think critically about the information they receive so that they can form their own opinion and be better, responsible and more engaged citizens of their countries. In addition, the project was aimed at enabling verification of the information received so as to consciously distinguish fake news from credible ones. Through the implementation of the project, we wanted participants from very interestingly selected countries to get to know each other and integrate around very current topics, regardless of the country we come from. We wanted to exchange information about the media in our countries and in the modern world together. It was about such issues as features and types of media, relationships and relationships between the media, communication strategies of these media, social contexts and forms of receiving media messages. The project was also supposed to sensitize the participants to the issue of reliability, and credibility of data, shaping our identity by the media. We wanted the participants to develop media competencies, which we understand as the ability to consciously choose media products, or the ability to critically, analytically, and multi-contextually interpret the information we receive. Finally, we wanted to implement this project also in order to exchange practical experiences in an unusual group of program and partner countries on how we can become better citizens of our countries, but also more broadly - of Europe and the world (for non-European countries), how to get rid of stereotypes and prejudices - how to discover that we are connected with the European way of life: tolerance, democracy, respect for other people and expressed views. The project gave us a chance for new friendships, getting to know other cultures and an interesting time spent in a group that rarely has the opportunity to cooperate on such a level. In addition, the knowledge provided during the project in the form of classes on how Erasmus works, what Youthpass is and how important they play in the life of every European broadened the participants' perspective on European integration and its role in their future lives.
