Objectives

The main goal of our project is to promote Europe's multiculturalism through various types of communication channels (social media) and thus transfer universal values such as tolerance, openness and respect to the other that stand behind the European community. The project is part of the objectives of the Erasmus + Program for the Youth action relating to raising the level of intercultural dialogue, promoting solidarity, social inclusion, raising the level of key competences, supporting the recognition of informal education and expanding the international dimension of the activities of participating organizations. The main issues of the project are centered around the culture of the participating countries - Poland and Lithuania and the promotion of their cultural values through the latest media. The project was created by the mentees and members of our organizations who had the opportunity to participate in such activities before. For our Foundation, the project is the first activity under the Erasmus + program. Young people are the main driving force behind our project, which is why they will be involved in all project activities. Social media are the main part of youth life, hence the idea of the project is to promote cultural values, tolerance and respect, precisely through the tools in which young people "live". The objectives of our project can also include: - making participants aware of common historical and cultural roots connecting Poland and Lithuania, as well as the differences between our countries that have been shaped for hundreds of years. - increasing the participants' tolerance, openness to other cultures and their understanding of differences  - conducting a happening promoting the theme of our project and the ideas of the Erasmus + program, which will take place with the city visited by many tourists and residents of Poland - Zakopane - gathering on all channels that we will promote the project at least 4,000 people watching. - strengthening participants' respect for their own culture and its specificity, as well as respect for other cultures - promotion of the Erasmus + program among young people, including young people with reduced social, geographical and economic opportunities, as well as among the local community of Zakopane The objectives of our project and their implementation will allow us to make participants aware of the importance of shared roots that connect Europe. Participants will have the opportunity not only to get acquainted with and understand other cultures that surround us, but also to gain respect for their native. The most important needs of the participating youth is to develop and acquire the following skills: - openness to otherness - respect for other cultures - knowledge of different cultures, and thus also a sense of (European) community - ability to break stereotypes - understanding for a different point of view arising from the origin / place of upbringing / baggage of experience - the ability to see the needs in the surrounding environment  - cooperation in an international environment - language competence (English) - openness to a different point of view - international cooperation and contact with the international environment All r.w. competences will pay off in the future for participants during their professional development path. Participation in the project will be a chance for participants to develop personally, which is the biggest motivation for them. During the project, the forms of work we use will be entirely based on non-formal education - learning in action. This will strengthen the learning process and the participants' awareness of the issues raised during the exchange. By developing the above-mentioned features in the participants, we want to achieve the objectives of the Erasmus + program such as: "raising the level of key competences and skills of young people, including people with fewer opportunities." and "supporting the recognition of non-formal and informal education". As an organization working with young people, we know that investing in youth is the best way to develop society. Together with the participants, we want to discover common roots that connect Poland and Lithuania, and thus lay the foundations for future international cooperation. This will not be possible without understanding common origin and common goals. We would also like to provide participants with reduced social, geographical and economic opportunities with opportunities for personal and professional development. Every day, these young people have no contact with the international environment, and thus the opportunity to learn about other cultures, break stereotypes and open themselves to the world.
