Health (mental and physical) is the most important determining factor of human life and the invaluable wealth. According to the World Health Organization, health - it is a physical, mental and social well-being, and not just the absence of disease and physical defects. The improvement of public health is the basic condition for the development of society; Research funded by WHO (World Health Organization) conducted in 2013 reported that in Europe more than 50% of people are overweight or obese and over 20% of people are obese. From this problem stems many different consequences, the most important is social exclusion. The problem with social inclusion is that it is a vicious cycle, the more that people feel different, the more that they exclude themselves. This is one of the main reasons why our project is targeted towards a healthy life-style, and we want to use dancing activities as a tool for it. The promotion of a healthy lifestyle is playing a major role in reducing morbidity and strengthening the public health of society. The project idea was concluded after we have set specific goals & objectives in order to solve specific issues in society. We have noted that social exclusion leads to consequences such as crimes and many health issues (suicides, drug addiction etc.). Therefore our main point was to give equal opportunities for everyone through social inclusion using dance as the main tool. As Europe was home for many different nations, cultures, races, genders & we do believed that in Europe there is no space for any kind of discrimination & exclusion, we concentrated to solve issues such as lack of inter cultural understanding and dialogue. We practice to overcome mistaken perceptions through dance, dialogue and non-formal education. Our aim was to reach better understanding between different nations & overcome mistaken stereotypes with the art, specifically dancing, as a tool. Art offers a unique means by which we can explore ourselves and who we are in the wider world. It is a way to exchange with other people about what we see, feel, think & sense. Dance is an art form, which in an experiential way helps to open a dialogue within & between individuals & communities. Since the beginning of the world dancing was a form of communication. The relationship between dance & culture is reciprocal. Culture gives meaning to who dances what, why, how, when, where, with & for whom, in addition to the role of the dance audience. Such variables also bespeak sexual orientation & gender roles, as well as ethnic, national & other group identities. Dancers reflect &/or influence culture. Through dance we learned about very sensitive topics such as any kind of discrimination, migration, inclusion. Dancing in this project was used as a tool to reach our objectives: • to raise up the awareness about healthy life-style; • to learn and share experience in the field of Dance; • how to use movement opportunities for our health; • to show that, without special lessons and lectures it is possible to get knowledge how to live well with the help of dance activities; • to get rid of unwanted stereotypes and complexes contribute to better adapt to the rapidly changing circumstances of life. • to become more open and to acquire freedom: freedom of movement, freedom of thought , freedom of communication and freedom of life. • to get intercultural experience by meeting with the representatives of different countries, cultures, backgrounds, religions, practice tolerance and break stereotypes & prejudices; • to build meaningful relations and future cooperation on the basis of this project under Erasmus+; • to increase employability and participation of youth, develop professional skills of youth workers and increase their efficiency; • to improve the quality of local and international youth work. Through this project and the different tools used in it we worked toward matching the aims of E+ program such as healthier lifestyle and well-being within youth, contributing to their active and responsible inclusion in local communities with a proactive and inclusive attitude. The methodology was based on learning by doing, which refers to the process of making meanings from direct experience.
