Objectives

We spend most of our free time in the local community. For the young people to really feel that they belong to the community, they need a common activity to solve common problems. Helping disadvantaged people to be active members of a community means contributing to the development of that community. The young volunteers of the organization and supported by the NGO coordinators, initiated a project to signal the danger to which the decision makers, with their will or indifference are neglecting the population of a marginal community, Ses Bahlui (poor / uneducated / illegally established / majority Roma). Through simplistic methods (photos, drawings) the young people transmitted the message of the community, practically becoming its voice, expressing and sharing the needs of the community. Having this project in mind, one of our young volunteers, who is coming from Oglinzi (Targu Neamt) noticed that their young community is not knowledgeable on methods with which they can bring situations in the eye of the local administration in order to solve it. The project is a youth exchange that brings together 35 young people and 7 group leaders from 5 countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania , Croatia, The Republic of North Macedonia and Romania. The aim of the project is to train the 42 young people, with civic skills and competences regarding the public participation and the influence of the decisions for the benefit of their own communities. The objectives of the project are: O1: Development of skills for 42 young people in the use of photographic techniques during the youth exchange. O2: Teaching the 42 young people to express and share community needs through image during the youth exchange and dissemination phase. O3: Increasing the visibility of Erasmus+ opportunities during all the project stages. Each specific objective of the project is assigned to activities described in the program of activities, which have the role to lead to their fulfillment, specifically and to the meaning of all. Our project contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the Erasmus + program by involving, in particular, young people with reduced opportunities (social difficulties: young people discriminated against on ethnic grounds, young people from disorganized families; economic difficulties: low incomes, lack of work, dependents of social incomes ; geographical difficulties: they come from rural areas and peripheral urban areas; educational difficulties - young people who dropped out of school / low qualifications; cultural differences - young Roma), diversification of non-formal education strategies; development of skills, knowledge and skills of young people from rural / urban peripheral environment; learning certification by granting Youthpass certificates. Regarding the European objectives and priorities in the national context, the project promotes social inclusion, diversity, equality and non-discrimination, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, through educational mobility for young people.
