As our Association POINT OF VYOU P.O.V. is an intercultural youth center created in order to complete and balance the lifestyle of youth that are willing to develop and achieve their potential, trough multilateral development, sustainability and global responsibility, we have created this project as a safe space for the teenagers to do this. POV mission is to develop inspirational programs that create lasting, balanced changes in young people's lives and create alternatives to improve living standards. And this project made this possible, create a social change& a perspective change& a interculturality exchange. Also managed to encouraged teenagers from 5 different communities from EU countries, to open their mind and to look at life from a different point of view. The impact was stronger with teenagers, as they have less access to this opportunities due to the age limit, and we created this space for them, to have a stronger effect on their "world", at younger age. The Project focused on 3 dimensions: personal development, professional development and global responsibility. The methodology that it was uses included: the storytelling method, graphic facilitation, introspection, self expression and global education, and self learning to learn by self organizing. POV vision is a world where young people live a harmonious lifestyle to reach their potential and create a sustainability, in this case, we activate this value in the teenagers by practicing learning tools during 1 week of exchange face to face. The goal of the project was to raise awareness of the youngsters 14-18 y.o. from LV, RO, AT, TR, UA, BG(the partner from BG withdrew from the project before the mobility) about effects of the emigration and the opportunities from their home country. The problem that the project is addressing was that so many teenagers are affected by massive migration from their countries, the unbalanced lifestyle in their communities and they loose interest in resources/opportunities that they still have available in their country. This project was intended to activate teenagers to make a change in their surroundings, encourage the youth from their communities to look and involve in creating and accessing opportunities around them, by developing specific competences, being involved in NGO, social actions or building cooperation for addressing to social and global issues. The objectives set and fulfilled for this project: 1.To increase the level of awareness of youngsters about the effects of emigration in participating countries groups, through 6 educational and personal developing tools, in order to enable 42 youngsters, 14-18 y.o., during the exchange, to act as global responsible multipliers back in their communities. (The level of awareness was measured and can be checked here on our online tool Padlet: https://padlet.com/pointofvyou/6tm8dg1m63miaglr ) 2.To develop a proactive and tolerant attitude during YE among 14-18 y.o. youngsters, empowering them to increase the level of self confidence, communication, creativity, diversity, through 1 day local event self organized, that involve public speaking, storytelling, theater, role-playing. (info about this activities: online platform, column 5 https://padlet.com/pointofvyou/uiqy49k8ebjnhtps) 3.During 6 days of exchange, to empower 42 youngsters with theater, storytelling, art methods, in order to improve perspective about potential of their communities and usage of the resources that each national group have in their country, and creating 1 online platform used as a support for all the methods and materials collected. )Padlet online platform can be accessed here, were all the participants have access to all the results, games and documents that were created during the mobility: https://padlet.com/pointofvyou/uiqy49k8ebjnhtps ) The purpose of our YE was to work out the problem about the unawareness of youth about the effects of migration and professional resources that they still have available in their country, strongly connected with the E+ youth objective that trough this are improving the level competences relevance to the labor market and their contribution to strengthening social cohesion, especially multiplying opportunities for learning and by strengthening cooperation between education and training and the field of work. Our objectives were fulfilled and due to the war, there were extra benefits for the participants, being in contact with such a strong effect of those 5 different worlds, but so similar in the same time, exchanging and improving their vision, just being together in the same time, guiding and being guided by experimented leaders and trainers on a sensitive and strong topic: migration and it's power of motivating to look at each country from different point and location, in order to understand it better. Also being out of the comfort zone and enlarging it, developed so many competences to the almost kids, from 13 to 20+ y.o. Mission Completed! :)
