From our and our partners` experience in working with young people from rural areas and starting from their need for development, we designed the initiative of this project. The main arguments are statistically proven (from both quantitative and qualitative points of view) and are the following: 1) according to recent studies, young people in rural areas are still a marginalized and vulnerable category, with limited access to education, professionalism, economic resources, infrastructure, health services so it is important to develop young people personally to gain more confidence in themselves, to overcome the limitations of their living environment and to have the courage to increase their quality of life 2) professional aspirations are decreasing proportionally with the shortcomings of young people, so it is vital to acquire a set of skills to facilitate their ability to communicate, relate and speak in public, to facilitate their integration into the labor market, according to their ideals. The aim of the project is to exponentially encourage the personal and professional progress of young people in rural areas. The two main objectives of the project are: OB1: Increasing interpersonal and intercultural communication skills for 30 young people from rural areas OB2: Increasing the ability to assess their potential and self-worth for 30 young people in rural areas The project will use methods of dramatic art and will be carried out in accordance with the objectives of the Erasmus + program. Good relationships and close collaboration with partners will provide us with a safe environment for activities, this security allowing young people to build on the project without being distracted from the process. Each participant will be an individual, will enjoy acceptance, respect, dignity, validation and empowerment. Team working from equal positions will stimulate young people, will provide them with an intimate setting in which they will evolve naturally and focused on their needs. The final theater show will help them to transmit their message to a whole world, to be at the same time characters and creators, to allow themselves the privilege of freely self-expression, inaccessible to them until then. The finality of the project will give them the feeling of concrete, of valued work, acquiring all the methods to prosper in the future. The project is essential because it allows a short-term transformation at the cognitive, intellectual, emotional and interpersonal level, which young people are in great need to reset.
