The project was created as a priority over other projects and started out of necessity due to the current situation caused by Covid-19, which unexpectedly affected many areas, and one of the most affected targets was the tourism industry worldwide. As a travel association of youth hostels, we wanted to connect through the project youth workers from different countries who are also part of travel associations in their countries, as if they would share experiences, ideas and examples of good practices that will be useful to the entire project partnership (and beyond) for restarting tourism, especially youth travel. up to 100% abandonment of hosting in the installations, resulting in a huge decline in youth workers and additional neglect of such a difficult-to-create volunteer program. Through the project, we wanted to motivate youth workers to feel that, despite the crisis situation, tourism is still alive, it is close to us, and with the youth worker exchange project, they will feel the first step of international travel. Thematically, the project was colored in such a way as to encourage the project partnership, namely by transferring knowledge, good practices and good as well as bad experiences that youth workers encountered in the crisis, what are the steps that organizations have taken in order to, despite the epidemiological overcame the difficulties of the situation and made it possible to 'keep your head above water'. Since the beginning of the European Covid-19 crisis, we have had various questions about maintaining the existence of youth work within Hostelling associations. During this, we were and still are in constant contact with our partners. We transferred the problems common to all partners into the project design, so that our existing Hostelling partners also became project partners, and we easily transferred the common issues that plague the partnership into project goals. Thus, our project goals were: 1. Raising the awareness of youth workers for the ability to recognize capacities for change 2. To raise the level of motivation of youth workers for the relaunch of youth tourism 3. Inclusion and organization of volunteers in new forms of volunteer work within the organization 4. Raising the competences of digital youth work for 18 participants for remote information to future travelers/guests 5. Train youth workers to act as multipliers among other associations
