The primary aim of implementing the project titled "More Than Just Words" was to address the decreasing democratic participation, especially among young people in Europe. The project sought to engage young individuals who often remain inactive and do not participate in democratic processes that influence their lives and futures. The project aimed to make young people active participants in the democratic process by reaching them through youth workers who can use artistic forms of self-expression, such as Slam Poetry, to communicate and resonate with them. The objectives of the project were: To raise awareness among young people about the importance of European values and encourage them to be active participants in democratic life through self-reflection. To equip youth workers with contemporary communication tools, specifically methods of Slam Poetry, to effectively reach and engage young people. To foster personal development among youth workers, enabling them to better understand and cater to the unique needs of young people. To introduce young people to artistic forms of self-expression, thereby increasing their active participation in democratic processes and contributing to societal development.
