Infectious diseases are diseases caused by organisms such as viruses, parasites or bacteria. Although there are various infectious diseases in the world, changes in these infectious diseases and their rates are observed over time. These changes differ according to the conditions and geographical factors of the period. In recent years, the increase in the world population of covid-19 and its successor, Omicron, has caused great concern. Increasing refugee and migration mobility has contributed to this concern, and increasing refugee and migration mobility has been one of the most important factors in the spread of infectious diseases to different geographies. Migrations were not only effective in the spread of diseases to other geographies, but also caused changes in the immune systems of the people of the region. In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of refugees coming to Europe, especially from the Middle East and African countries. With this increase, changes are observed in the epidemiological model of infectious diseases observed in Europe. 1.5 million refugees or migrants under the age of 29 settled in different countries of the EU. A comprehensive study by the EU shows that the EU public lacks knowledge about migration and infectious diseases. This reveals the importance of our project. According to the reports of the World Health Organization; On December 31, 2019, the City of Wuhan, China was alerted to several cases of pneumonia. A week later, on January 7, Chinese authorities confirmed that they had detected a new virus. The new virus is the Corona virus, which belongs to a family of viruses that includes viruses such as SARS and MERS. The importance of this virus, which spreads around the world and poses a threat, in terms of health was also mentioned at the project meeting. The importance of infectious diseases is proportional to the harm they can cause to society. One of the ways to minimize these damages is to raise awareness of the society. The way for Europe's development and progress is through the productivity of individuals and therefore their health. In this respect, it is important to raise awareness of our youth, who are the manpower of the future, about infectious diseases. According to the 2016 data of the World Health Organization, the estimated number of patients living with infectious diseases is 36.7 million. The age range where these cases are most common is the 25-29 age group. A large majority of the young population in Europe does not have enough information about infectious diseases. Since this situation poses a threat to both their own health and public health, this project was needed to raise awareness in this area. In addition, raising awareness of young people about infectious diseases is the main subject of this project. During the project process, the participants were informed about the ways to protect themselves from their diseases and what to do if they get sick. The goals we have achieved are; *The quality of youth work has been increased through institutions in the youth field. *Information was exchanged on common infectious diseases among the participants. *Participants understood the relevance of migrations to infectious diseases. *The effect of sports, nutrition and sleep on immunity has been shown. * Young people got to know and learn about different cultures, and the sense of mutual understanding between young people was strengthened. * It was ensured that all kinds of prejudice and discrimination towards those living with infectious diseases were minimized. * Participants learned how to access quality services for prevention, early diagnosis, support, treatment and care. *Restricted (disadvantaged) participants' participation in life was supported. *A sense of active citizenship was instilled among the participants. *The importance of Erasmus+ programs and Youthpass certificate was understood and promoted. In our project, the priorities of the Erasmus + Program and the priority goals of our project are completely compatible. These goals and priorities are: *Potential of youth work with the contribution of partner countries and project supporters; *Helping the integration and dissemination of healthy life, supporting the active participation of young people in society; *Promoting intercultural communication, socialization and solidarity in Europe; * Supporting the integration of current concerns of young people into employment strategy.
