The specific objective of the project Cycleception prepared by Fit Group, held on between 16.04.2021 and 04.24.2021 in Kumbağ/Tekirdag, is to increase the rate of bicycle use by improving the capacities of 35 young people from Turkey, Italy, Armenia, The Republic of North Macedonia, and Bulgaria through mechanical knowledge, safe driving, the health, environmental and economic benefits of the bicycle. Objectives: • To develop knowledge and skills in bicycle mechanics, maintenance and repair, • To teach the right choice of bicycle and safety equipment, • To teach the basics of safe driving and to encourage safe driving, • To raise awareness about the benefits of cycling for mental and physical health, • To teach the contribution to the economy with the decrease in non-renewable energy consumption as a result of bicycle use, • To raise awareness of young people about the contribution of bicycle use to the ecosystem, • To provide an environment of inclusion and inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. With the participation of the project from 5 different countries, it was aimed to develop respect and tolerance of young people to different cultures and perspectives. In the project, it is aimed that the participants will understand the lifestyles of their peers in different geographies and become aware of EU values by including countries that are not from the European Union and the European continent. It is aimed to develop relations between non-governmental organizations and public institutions and to gain more confidence in the program by local people by making local and regional cooperations.
