The exclusion of the Roma by the society we live in due to the inability to integrate them creates many problems. The exclusionary approaches of the society to the Roma negatively affect their social acceptance and sense of belonging. This drags them into an accepted helplessness, hinders their efforts for social acceptance, and makes them part of social turmoil. The negativities experienced by the Roma in our environment negatively affect us as individuals, our society and our organizations. Because the exclusion of the Roma people with whom we live in neighborly relations in the same society and the turmoil they cause damage the social peace. Safety of life and property, public health, sense of trust, personal psychology, etc. is damaged. The solution of the problem in order to ensure social peace in our environment is one of the primary needs of our institutions. Although the integration of Roma is included in the EU 2020 targets and the National Roma Strategies, there is a need for social support and awareness raising for its success. In addition, there is a need for awareness development among the Roma in this direction. The most important actor in this mental transformation process of the novels will be women. Because while women struggle to be a part of the society they live in, they also try to direct their own society. In terms of being the building blocks of the family, women take on the role of educators with a high impact on their spouses, children and their environment. It plays a leading role especially in the upbringing of children and young people and in the transfer of culture. Women who are so strong and have the potential to transform their local communities must be supported, made visible, and exist in democratic platforms to fight gender inequality and seek their rights. Our Project Purpose; It is to create social awareness and awareness in order to support the civic participation of Roma women who experience social exclusion and their presence in democratic councils. Our Project Goals; - Raising social awareness about supporting the social inclusion of Roma women, - their presence in democratic assemblies through the promotion of their civic participation, - supporting the participation of marginalized Roma women in social events and volunteering projects, - Supporting their participation in NGOs and local governments, - Raising awareness of Roma women in their struggle with their disadvantages, - raising awareness on gender equality.
