Our project, Less Garbage More Life, was designed as a youth exchange project within the scope of Erasmus+ Programme. The aim of our project is to draw attention to the excessively produced garbage in our daily lives and to cause less damage to our world by producing less garbage. The starting point of our project has been the ever-growing shopping spree and the main plastic materials taking more place in our lives, making the damage to nature unavoidable. This subject has caused a serious discomfort among the members of our group. By drawing attention to this issue in our local, we want to work first to raise awareness and then to make it a behavior at the individual and institutional level. Our project is directly related to triggering change in the society in which young people live, which is one of the main goals of the Erasmus+ Program, and being a part of it. In addition, topics such as increasing cooperation and solidarity among Program member countries and transferring good practices are also in line with the goals that our project is trying to achieve. Environmental awareness, doing less harm to the world we live in, taking action against consumerism, and striving for a cleaner and greener world are the starting points of our project.
