United Nations International Migrants Day, celebrated on 18 December every year; It highlights the economic, political, psychological and legal problems of immigrants and displaced people around the world. Our country and geography, which is located on one of the most important migration routes in the world, witnessed and hosted great migration processes. Turkey hosts more than 5 million foreigners from more than 150 nationalities. Millions of people of different languages, religions, races and genders live in peace and prosperity in our country. Social Cohesion After Migration The aim of the project is to cooperate with European Non-Governmental Organizations and Syrian children and youth living in Siirt, on 18 December International Migrants Day, Social Cohesion Training with European Youth and Syrian Children and Youth, Social Cohesion Panel, Culture and Art Activities, Sports Activities Celebrating "18 December International Migrants Day" with activities such as "Cultural Meetings, Cultural Trips and Awareness Activities". Working with people of different cultures, genders, ideas and views, and using Social Cohesion methods in solving crises arising from cultural differences etc. during these studies is an important solution that can contribute to the elimination of problems before they grow. In particular, tolerance, reduction of racism, prejudices, etc. NGOs carrying out projects in these fields will also contribute to the achievement of the objectives and priorities of Erasmus+ projects. Because, under the title of MOBILITY PROJECT FOR YOUTH AND YOUTH EMPLOYEES in the program guide, it is stated that special attention will be given in 2020; “Equipping youth workers with the competencies and methods necessary for the most effective transfer of the common basic values of society, especially to young people, and for the protection of young people from dangerous radicalization. “It also coincides with the article. With the activities of the Post-Migration Social Cohesion project, young people and those working in the field of youth will contribute to one of the priorities of the Erasmus+ program by developing "Social Cohesion" techniques on the issues of lack of communication, prejudices and racism, which are the cause of radicalization. The European Union is built on respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minority groups. These values are; is common to Member States in a society dominated by pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between men and women. The Post-Migration Social Cohesion project to be organized; The fact that young people from different languages, races, genders, minority groups (disabled and refugee-asylum-seeking Syrian youth) and different cultures have basic knowledge of Social Cohesion terms and processes (with different examples from daily life practices to international processes) are the main differences in Europe. It will make them realize that they are a wealth that makes Europe. In this way, young people will realize that they are European Citizens, even if they come from different places and cultures. Thus, the project will contribute to the general purpose of the Erasmus+ Program.
