Our project was born out of the concern of cultural degeneration due to the rapid changes in the lives of our youth. Years ago, people knew their cultural heritage better and protected them more. Today, new generations, who are exposed to different broadcasts such as the internet and television, forget their national culture. The idea that we agree with as the project coordinator and with our proe partners is that the cultural heritage of a society shows the identity of that society in a way. Nations that have lost their culture may be under the influence of other nations and thus may move away from their original identity. For this reason, we believe that we should protect and preserve our cultural heritage from the past to the present. At the same time, we knew that it was our only duty to leave our cultural heritage to the next generations. In the observations we made as a youth group and in the meetings we held with our group members; We learned that young people's curiosity and motivation about cultural heritage is quite low. This situation was worrying for us. In this context, we decided to cooperate at the European level so that our young people can discover their cultural heritage and learn how to associate it with today's life. Our project offered an international and comprehensive look at a national performance art. It encouraged our young people to better define and protect cultural heritage, to discover the rich European cultural heritage and to engage in an intercultural dialogue with like-minded young people from different European countries. We believe that it is possible for our young people to be successful in life, not only academically, but also with the development of all aspects of the individual. For this reason, by creating cultural heritage awareness in our youth; We aimed to raise awareness of the protection of cultural heritage and to strengthen intercultural understanding. We also applied to our project to provide a unique opportunity for young people with geographical, social, economic, social, cultural and health disabilities to discover the different cultures and habits of other European countries. The aims of our project: - Promoting the European citizenship of young people, - Promoting tolerance by strengthening harmony among young people, - Contributing to the development of the capacities of participating associations and organizations, - To develop the self-confidence of young people with limited opportunities and disadvantages, - To improve the digital skills and foreign language skills of our participants, - Promote cultural dialogue between young people and universally shared values, - To teach young people how to communicate with others using non-violent communication methods, using non-formal techniques.
