Objectives

The human body is in need of constant movement during the day due to its anatomy and physiology. While this need was a necessity in beginning of humanity, people today prefer to engage in work that requires less physical strength and movement. This worsens people’s health, and it negatively affects their work and education. Especially when walking on the floors of places such as schools, workplaces and shopping centers, it prevents the development of gross motor skills of children, which do not work at this time, and thus, the muscles are shortened in size. In fact, people prefer escalators or elevators to avoid climbing stairs. Today, it is heavily studied that the environments in which young people spend time are restricted as a result of the change in social and environmental conditions, especially after vertical construction gained more popularity. From this point of view, it is a prerequisite for individuals to be in good physical and mental health in our project designed as a project in which the importance of movement and risky games in natural environments is at the forefront. The following items are listed as the specific objectives of the project: 1. First of all, they have gained awareness of movement and risky games in natural environments which are necessary for their mental and physical health. 2. They have become aware of the positive contributions of their own abilities and this course to their own development and life. 3. Their ability to take risks, make decisions, and solve problems in the events and situations they encounter in their lives has developed. 4. They have gained gross and fine motor skills, balance, coordination and body awareness. 5. They are more easily motivated to achieve goals and cope with new situations based on their success or failure. 6. They will be able to develop their knowledge and skills on movement, healthy life and risky games in natural environments and will be able to transfer this to the individuals around them. 7. They will adopt the experiences they have gained from the activities planned within the scope of the project as a life philosophy and will also try to make other people around them adopt them. 8. They increased their multilingual capacity while communicating with other participants from different countries. In this way, they increased the intercultural dialogue. 9. High learning outcomes were achieved by providing quality educational environments for the participants.
