Objectives

By implementing the project, our main aim was to amplify the development of new non-formal teaching methods in various fields of study, recognizing the increasing importance and influence of non-formal education in shaping and equipping the younger generation with the necessary skills for the evolving labor market. The specific objectives of our project were as follows: 1. Enhancement of Competence: We aimed to enhance the competence of youth workers, trainers, and youth leaders from 7 different countries. Our focus was to equip them with the ability to design and deliver activities rooted in the experiential learning model, ensuring a more hands-on and practical approach to teaching. 2. Synergy between Education Systems: Our project sought to bridge the gap between formal and non-formal education systems. We aimed to do this by creating a comprehensive set of tools – tools that have been empirically tested and are available at no cost – to aid youth workers in integrating experiential learning into their teaching methods. This is crucial in promoting a more holistic approach to education, where the traditional and the contemporary merge seamlessly. 3. Organizational Development through Experiential Learning: Recognizing the potency of experiential learning, another objective was to harness its power to drive the organizational development of our partner organizations. By infusing experiential learning into their operations, these organizations can achieve more effective outcomes, both in terms of internal processes and external engagements. In essence, the project was a comprehensive effort to revolutionize the approach to youth education, ensuring that young people are better equipped to face the demands of the modern world.
