The primary objective of Young Muse youth exchange was to create a space for young people to explore and discover their authentic selves through art. We wanted to provide a platform where participants could express themselves creatively and use their art to communicate their innermost thoughts and emotions. We also aimed to promote intercultural dialogue and understanding by bringing together young people from different countries and backgrounds. Through our project, we sought to foster personal development and empowerment by encouraging participants to reflect on their identities and values. We wanted to create a safe and supportive environment where participants could explore their unique qualities and strengths, build confidence and develop a positive self-image. Furthermore, we wanted to promote social inclusion by creating opportunities for young people who may face barriers to participation, such as economic or social disadvantage. Our project aimed to provide equal access to all participants and promote diversity and tolerance. Overall, we aimed to create a transformative and meaningful experience for all participants, where they could develop their creative skills, form new connections and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others. At the end of this project, we are glad to share that 52 young people and 14 leaders enriched their skills: critical thinking, communication, cultural awareness and ability to live with others. Those young people got engaged in the Erasmus + programme and got to learn about the opportunities in the field. They managed to create their own experiences and get the support to take the next steps in their lives. Young Muse participants learned: - how to create their own learning systems to set and work on their own learning goals while being supported by their peers - how to express themselves through the means of art - How to organize their own experiences, events and workshops - How to live together (sharing about their feelings and needs, setting boundaries, creating common rules and respecting each other) - how to be open to the culture of others (learning about different cultures and ways of living, practicing speaking in English, active listening) - how to deal with uncertainty and change (being flexible in the learning process, adapting to changes in the environment) - how to evaluate their own learning and set new learning goals - critical thinking, media literacy and storytelling skills
