Objectives

The Youth Exchange "Walk Your Talk" aimed to bring together individuals from remote and rural areas and help them develop their self-confidence, leadership skills, and become active members of their community. Through various daily challenges and public speaking activities, participants were encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone, set goals, and accomplish them. Participants were asked to reflect on the last time they did something for the first time and encouraged to view leadership as a fundamental aspect of personal growth. The exchange emphasized the importance of public speaking as a tool for effective leadership. The exchange provided an opportunity for participants to build new connections, gain new perspectives, and develop valuable skills that they can use in their daily lives. The objectives of the YE "Walk your Talk" were: To raise awareness among the participants about using public speaking as a tool for building self-confidence, improving communication, and testing their limitations; To help participants overcome their fear of public speaking in a safe environment and feel confident during presentations. To develop the participants' leadership skills by providing them with an opportunity to prepare for sessions on public speaking methods in their countries with the support of their sending organizations and group leaders; To enable participants to gain experience, knowledge, and good practices for constructive analysis of their own and others' presentations, basic rules of speech, visualizing, and the use of informational communicational technologies during presentation; To promote language learning as a way of job finding in foreign markets and gaining experience and competencies there. To strengthen participants' understanding of the Erasmus+ Programme and encourage young people to get activated and participate in international mobility activities. To strengthen participants' teamwork and intercultural competencies by providing them with an opportunity to work in a mix-intercultural environment; To increase participants' communication skills by giving them an opportunity to work on creating a campaign that raises awareness of leadership and a 'can-do' attitude among their peers.
