We wanted to create a project where young people initiate themselves from the very beginning and co-create an international youth exchange, where they are able to learn from each other in a non-formal educational setting. Another objective was to implement a project that serves as a learning outcome for the participants and also has an impact on the wider target group, young people connected to the participants. Through the continuous dissemination of the project we wanted to achieve that more people get to know about Erasmus+ opportunities and consider what skills they need for the future. As for the participants, the aim was to achieve that they develop their key competences, with a special focus on ”Future Skills”, aka those that will be helpful to them in the job market or while creating their own jobs (leadership, learning to learn & adaptability, critical thinking & media literacy, creativity, communication & persuasion, project management, and cultural awareness & inclusion). Furthermore, another goal was to make them familiar with certain concepts, like experiential learning & Kolb cycle, Youthpass, Cycle of Creativity or Feedback Models. We also wanted them to become more aware of issues around the topic of inclusion and become more inclusive citizens themselves. Moreover, a purpose was to make them multiplicators of these values and be able to defend their points of view. A main objective was to create a space for participants where they can explore other cultures (and as an effect their own as well), and appreciate the cultural diversity in Europe. We aimed to improve their communication in foreign languages as well as in their own. We wanted them to create international friendships, become interested in international youth work, and build networks for the future.
