THE MAIN OBJECTIVE is for 30 young people to increase their knowledge and awareness of the myths and legends of their native places within 10 days and by sharing them with other peers from other countries to show their civic position, to discover themselves and their identity, as in this way they will help build a bridge between generations, between history and the present. This will help build a starting point for the future and create a goal and direction. AS SUB-OBJECTIVES we set: through myths and legends from different countries to reveal specific, perhaps unsuspected general specifics in the cultures of the participating countries, which will further arouse interest and facilitate intercultural dialogue between participants. Thus they will get to know and become more tolerant of different cultures, while being able to transfer what they have learned to their local communities. Eliminate prejudices and stereotypes by rediscovering common history, legends and myths. Another sub-goal is the acquisition of skills and competencies for communication in an intercultural environment and work. Increased awareness of the Erasmus + program and its opportunities. Created innovative projects with cultural and historical focus, which as follow-up initiatives to trigger a mechanism for dissemination and promotion of the final product - "a collection of myths and legends of Europe" among local population after the participants return from the youth exchange to their native places. In this way we will ensure an increase in the capacity of the organizations and participants, their awareness of the program and we will create cooperation on future projects. During the exchange we will rely entirely on the methods of non-formal education. We young people will be the main actors in the project and will lead all activities supported by each other and with the help of our leaders. We have chosen a variety of methods such as intercultural games, games for team building, for breaking stereotypes, as well as specially prepared intercultural evenings that will help all participants to get to know other cultures and to overcome stereotypes and prejudices. This will improve the skills of young people to communicate in a multicultural environment; The project activities meet the objectives of the ERASMUS + program - promoting active citizenship and in particular European citizenship of young people, developing solidarity and tolerance, promoting mutual understanding and European cooperation and contributing to support systems for youth activities. are also the permanent priorities of the Program such as European citizenship, participation of young people, cultural diversity and inclusion of disadvantaged young people.
