Objectives

The idea of the project is provoked by our experience and work with young people and observations on their development, problems and needs. Our organization has implemented several international projects that directly addressed the topic of youth unemployment. The conclusions that have been drawn are that there is a need for policies in the field of education and vocational guidance, as well as for activities that address the development and improvement of youth employment skills. SC "Topalov" has a policy and methodology in place that develops key core competencies that will subsequently serve as basic skills for active and effective participation in the labor market. Main objective of the project: To acquire vocational guidance skills so that young people can become engines of their development in terms of education, training, integration of the labor market and professional life. These skills are built on building key competences, in particular the 'learn to learn' competence, social and civic skills, including intercultural knowledge, initiative and entrepreneurship. Specific objectives: • To raise the awareness of young people about the problems of youth unemployment and the ways, methods, tools and institutions to deal with it. • Build a set of skills and competencies for employment - "soft", "key", "hidden", "career management skills". • Encourage entrepreneurial and creative thinking and generate innovative solutions for the benefit of personal development and the local community. • Capacity-building for young people to actively participate, by raising their knowledge of EU citizenship and the human rights that flow from it. • Increasing the visibility of European programs and the opportunities they provide to support young people in combating unemployment. • Promoting non-formal education as a tool for the full inclusion of young people in today's labor market. • Building stakeholder networks relevant to guidance and counseling for groups that need it but do not have access to such services. The activities of the project are so selected as to correspond directly with the specific objectives, and the achievement of each of them will ensure the effective achievement of the main objective, the fulfillment of which will meet the objectives and priorities of the Erasmus + program, with regard to on: • Youth competitiveness, employment and growth, ensuring greater integration of the labor market and more mobility (objectives of the Erasmus + program and the "Europe 2020" strategy) • Ability for young people to develop their competences, learn about important social issues and learn about new cultures. The objectives of the project are in line with the Renewed Framework for European Cooperation on Youth, which requires more equal opportunities for all young people in education and the labor market. The main problems of disadvantaged young people that we want to address are related to: • Increasing youth unemployment. • Low motivation of young people to participate actively in the labor market. • Lack of skills to find and retain jobs adequate to those needed by employers. • Low level of awareness of the opportunities offered to them by European programs to tackle the challenges of the labor market. The needs of the young people we want to respond to are: • To acquire new knowledge, skills and competences related to increasing their adaptability and competitiveness. • Increase their self-confidence and capacity-building capabilities. • To provoke their entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking.
