The flow of information, it becomes increasingly difficult to weed out the truth from fake news. In the modern world, the main source of false information is the Internet, which at the same time is the largest reservoir of knowledge in the world. That is why it is very important to be able to distinguish the signs of false information in order to take advantage of useful knowledge. Our goal in discussing this topic is to make this process easier. The topic is vital, as it often affects both the pillars of the rule of law and the rights of the individual. The spread of fake news, misinformation and lack of media literacy are a threat to democracy, to our society, to our economy, and to our health. They change public confidence and undermine freedom of expression. As emphasized in the report published by the High Level Expert Group set up by the European Commission, tackling misinformation requires a multifaceted approach and strategy. Given the growing importance of the electronic environment as a source of information, the focus is on promoting media and information literacy in order to counter misinformation and enable consumers to navigate the digital media environment. The implementation of this project initiative aims to: 1. To provide youth workers with knowledge and skills for media literacy in order to behave responsibly with regard to the use of technology. 2. To build skills for using various tools for analysis of media content in order to become active citizens in the digital world. 3. To study the phenomenon of fake news, causes, nature and consequences in order to develop resistance to them.
