As leading organizations in the field of international volunteering in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Hungary, and with almost 30 years of experience in the non-governmental and youth sectors, all organizations involved in the project are aware of the importance to organize follow-up activities with their volunteers. Moreover, they stand as key actions to activate more volunteers which has a direct impact on local communities, influencing the general public trust and followingly attracts other stakeholders into actions. The focus of the project is to share good practices associated with post-arrival activities of volunteers and to create project proposals and a strategy on how to carry these activities out. This strategy will be shared within IVS networks (Alliance, CCIVS and SCI) and therefore globally increase the capacity building of IVS organizations. Since many ideas need to be discussed, designed and innovated, representatives of the organizations would like to organize a feasibility visit as a space to create a project proposal for KA2 strategic partnership focused on how to work with post-arrival activities. As a part of this visit, we plan to organize and attend a training for a grant application writing hosted by an external expert. Throughout this visit, we will encourage participants (employees of NGOs) to strengthen their additional competencies and skills, which will be achieved through the exchange of good practices and the overall attendance in the training. This newly gained knowledge will be then disseminated to the sending organizations to increase the quality of their post-arrival activities. The main objectives are: • To share good practices in the field of working with motivation, skills, and competencies of volunteers after they come back from the projects. • To develop and conceptually design KA2 project proposal - specifically project objectives and aims to apply in February 2021 with grant application for organizations on how to organize post-arriving activities. • To organize training for capacity building for organizations to improve staff's professional skills in grant application writing. • To strengthen partnerships among the organizations for future cooperation in the follow up KA2 project and for developing the project proposal based on a deep knowledge of the strengths and needs of individual organizations.
