The topics of the project were health and wellbeing. We decided to explore the range within these two words, starting from personal health (self-awareness, understanding my own emotions, what do I need, what makes me happy, what do I want to achieve and learn, connection between my body, mind, and my emotions etc.) and finishing at the social aspect of it (my relationship with other people, with the local community, nature, work, and society). On top of this, one of our aims was also a learning how to prepare youth exchange project. We have seen many times, that youth leaders on the youth exchange have no clue about what is expected of them and what their role should be. Also, young people also did not understand that the youth exchange should mainly be a learning opportunity, not just fun. That is why we have created this rather complex project, which was consisted of the following activities: 1. Training Course for the youth leaders and youth workers. Each partner organisation participated on this training course, where they learned mostly what is learning, how to support the learning and how to plan a youth exchange. 2. APV to finalize the programme. 3. First youth exchange, where the youth leaders organized and implemented the programme based on the personal wellbeing. 4. Second youth exchange, where young people organized their own programme based on the social wellbeing. Objectives set in the application were: 1. To raise an awareness about your own personal identity and recognition of your own needs (who am I? What motivates me? What makes me happy? What am I good at? What do I still want to learn and how? Where and how do I want to live?) 2. To learn how to recognise and develop skills that complement your own needs. 3. To learn how to build community and your own environment (to transfer my own needs and strengths to the environment I live in) 4. To understand and learn what is civic responsibility (in correlation to my own needs, strengths, and vision for my life).
