The main challenge/burning issue that we wanted to address with this project is: Youth in Europe are not aware of the importance of environmental protection, or they don't know what they can do to improve the situation. The main aim of the project was: Raise awareness about environmental protection and the role of the youth in it. The goals of our project were: -To teach young people from 6 countries about different concepts connected with the protection of the environment, such as guerilla gardening, replanting trees, and others; - To show good examples of environmental protection and youth activism about e.p. from participating countries; - To give tools to youth from 6 different countries, empowering them to make the change in their local community; - To share with 42 young people and group leaders how waste management and sustainable consumption can help us produce less waste and use our resources in a better way, helping them share these results with their peers and other youth from their local communities; To create a safe space where youth can learn from each other, try something new and share their culture and values with others.
