Objectives

The international youth exchange “FUCHSFARM INTERNATIONAL 2022 – Together For a Sustainable Environment” (the youth exchange was requested with the title “FUCHSFARM INTERNATIONAL 2020 – Together For a Sustainable Environment”, due to the postponements caused by the pandemic, the year was changed to 2022 and continued in the following report named 2022) invited young people between the ages of 14 and 18 to the Fuchsfarm in the Swabian Jura. Adventurous participants from our partner organizations from Poland (Wroclaw), Spain (Avilés), Latvia (Jelgava), Italy (Sicily) and of course the Swabian Alb Association youth were invited. The program of "FUCHSFARM INTERNATIONAL 2022 - Together For a Sustainable Environment" offered everyone a platform to gain insights into the culture of the respective partner countries. By means of intercultural working methods, everyone got the chance to get to know the language of the other, to share and to question existing clichés or stereotypical images. “FUCHFARM INTERNATIONAL 2022 – Together For a Sustainable Environment” had sustainability as its main theme. The goal of the encounter was to convey a sustainable lifestyle and responsible interaction with nature to the participants. In the main phase of the project, several workshops are offered on the core topic, e.g. B. upcycling, photography, wood carving, nature protection, theater, and documentation workshop. The key competences acquired in the intercultural units and interaction-pedagogical work phases (such as language competence, professional competence, methodological competence, self-competence and social competence) strengthen the young people and expand their chances, e.g. B. on the labor market, especially those young people from social needs. With the cooperation of five European organizations in youth work, we wanted to take a clear position on an open, liberal, tolerant, humanistic and sustainable Europe. The participants were able to get to know mobility opportunities in Europe.
