The central goal of this inclusive youth circus exchange was to enable the participants to become active citizens. The entire youth exchange was dedicated to this "empowerment". In addition to other overarching project goals (promoting participation, diversity, inclusion and social dialogue), we pursued a number of other goals on the social level of the participants: global social and intersectional learning, active democratic participation, peer education, self-organization and the positive experience of community and cooperation. On the individual level, the following were added: the broadening of horizons, the promotion of the ability to reflect, project management skills, creativity, personal responsibility, self-efficacy, team skills and foreign language skills.
