The project “Get Eco Go Green - Environmental Awareness and Solidarity of Youth” was created to find new innovative ways of solving relevant environmental problems on the local and global levels. Based on international statistics, 80% of young people do not care about the environment, and that 20% who really care and have some ideas about improving the situation, don’t know how they can help. So, we wanted to carry out this project to help participants implement their project ideas and teach them how they can improve the environment state in their localities. The objectives of the whole project were: OBJECTIVE 1: to increase the social responsibility of the participants, to make them realize that every one of them is essential and can influence the changing of the environment. OBJECTIVE 2: to provide the participants with the tools and methods of improving the level of the environment in their localities with the help of social entrepreneurship. OBJECTIVE 3: to create an environment where participants will search for different ways, ideas of improving the environmental state and will create mini-projects (campaigns) in their national teams that will help to raise environmental responsibility in their localities. OBJECTIVE 4: to provide participants with knowledge about zero-waste lifestyle (a philosophy of responsible production, smart consumption, reuse, and recovery of all products, packaging, and materials), its main principles, teach them how to use this lifestyle in everyday life as well as to make it popular in their communities; to get participants acquainted with the rule of 5R (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle). OBJECTIVE 5: to promote intercultural learning between the participants.
